CHICAGO's FUNDRAISER 2009 On Jan. 31st, 2009, the MIMA Chicago group held their first fundraiser in the frigid cold of winter. This didn't bother the tough Chicagoans, as approximately 90 people attended and close to $9000 was earned that night.
The event was held at La Majada Mexican Restaurant, and the owners, Hector and Jessie Haggar generously donated two door prizes that significantly helped with the sale of raffle tickets. Two one week stays at their condominium in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were the grand prizes of the evening. Special thanks to the host committee for all of their help.
The team consisted of Dorothy Clarke, Janeen Hernan, Tracy Irwin, Janet Karol, Lisa Labin, Anna Montes, Francis Podbielski, Paul Prybylo, Iris Saavedra and Mary Kay Thomas.
