We had hoped to not have to do a Palm Beach Party this year, although Doug and Kathy Dedo graciously offered their office for another great event. I had thought that we could take a break..but....no...the economy has changed drastically, and Tenet has withdrawn their financial support of the MIMA volunteers and has also cancelled Matching Gifts. So, in order for the Tenet ( St. Mary's ) volunteers to get enough support to allow them to go on the 2009 trip, we have decided to have a Party..

This will be held at Maggie's..in the Western Suburbs.. on April 18th. It will not be a formal invitation party, rather a Party..everyone will be expected to bring a dish..and some money to donate to raffle gifts...

Hopefully, we will earn enough to support those volunteers that really need the financial assistance to join us for the 2009 trip.  I encourage all of you to put a list of invites together, and take that responsibility and invite them to jon us on this evening. It should be alot of fun...mkt
